Warsaw, Poland – two trains have collided Saturday night in southern Poland, ABC News reported. Death toll rises to 14 and 60 people was reported injured, authorities said.

Both trains, white and green, were distorted and appeared to be knocked off on their tracks, the all-news station TVN24 said.

Prime Minister Donald Tusk was on his way to the site of the collision in Szczekociny, a small town in southern Poland close to the larger town of Zawiercie, TVN24 reported.

Local rescue officials were deployed in the accident’s site to help those injured, says Artur Borowicz, director.
