Best Buy CEO Resigns, Interim CEO has been selected

Best Buy announced today that Brian Dunn, Best Buy CEO and director has resigned. The news comes about two weeks after Best Buy announced plans to close 50 of its big box stores.

An  interim CEO has been selected in the name of Director G. Mike Mikan while the company conducts a CEO search. In addition, a CEO search committee was also created.  Richard Schulze, Best Buy founder  will continue to serve as chairman.
