BIG BEND NATIONAL PARK | MOUNTAIN LION ATTACKS 6-YEARS OLD BOY

BIG BEND NATIONAL PARK, TEXAS – Rivers Hobbs, a 6-year old boy, was attacked by a mountain lion, reports foxnews.com. The boy told his father, Jason Hobbs that he was sneaked by it. Mr. Hobbs told that he saw the cat fastened on his son’s face. He finally bashed the animal in the chest through his knife and afterwards it flees.

The boy got large slashes and pricks to his right face and was rushed by his family to hospital in Alpine. After getting several stitches, the boy was released.

According to Park officials, the same animal tried to attack another family who visited earlier that day. The said family reported them that the animal attack the member’s backpack and ran off.

As of now, Park officials are still searching for a “young and in bad shape” mountain lion and they said that once they find it, they don’t hesitate to kill it.
