The venue of the presentation will be at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco. Notably, it is where the 2 previous iPads were first unveiled by then-Apple CEO Steve Jobs. The first iPad was launched January 27, 2010 while the iPad 2 was launched March 2, 2011.
The third-generation iPad is rumored to have a Retina display (earlier featured in iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4th-gen), a resolution upgrade of 2,048 x 1,536, a quadcore A6 processor, and 4G connectivity, among others.
