MICHIGAN PRIMARY VOTING: Close Battle between Romney and Santorum

Tuesday started a battle between two Republican contenders for presidency. Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum were battling for advantage in crucial primary elections in Michigan and Arizona. But the primary results for Michigan and Arizona are in favor with Romney.

Romney won contentedly in Arizona with 43% of the votes compared with Santorum having 28%. The two were in closer battle in Michigan where the presidential contest heats up. Romney also projected to win with 41% of votes compared with 38% for Santorum.

Not all primary results are in favor of Romney. Recently, Michigan Live posted that Romney losses Genesee country. Santorum got 39% of votes or equivalent to 12,833 votes, while the latter got 38% or a total of 12,581 votes.
