NCAA Tournament 2012: Crowder of Marquette conquer BYU with 88-68 points

Jae Crowder has done it with 25 points and 16 rebounds, and the team won with 88-68 points. Son of Corey Crowder, former basketball player, guard forwards who didn’t expect that his son (Jae) will follow his footsteps as one of the well known and good basket ball player. Jae during his high school also played for Villa Rica High School as quarter back for the school’s football team. Since Jae Crowder played for the Marquette Golden Eagles, he has been the best all around player during the season.

Crowder is teamed up with Darius Johnson-Odom who also big shots during the game had made it possible for the team to win. Odom scored 12 of his 20 points in the second half of the game. Cougars shows toughness and Odom together with Crowder needs to fight without a run. On a second glimpse of the game, they really showed that the team really work as one.

Though for the Cougars, Brandon Davies had 19 points and 12 rebounds during the game. And Noah’s Hartsock with additional 15 points in the first half. Davies had been missing in the NCAA tournament last year due to honor code violation issues when he got flattened by Mayo and Cusick. His return and played a hard defense against Golden Eagles, it became the best season for the teams. But then the Marquette still leads the game with 19 points during the first half and eventually finished with 88-68 points in favor of Marquette Golden Eagles.
