SAMSUNG LAUNCHES GALAXY TAB 2 RUNNING ANDROID 4.0

Samsung officially launched its latest tablet computer, Galaxy Tab 2, running Android Ice Cream Sandwich last Monday, February 13, 2012. According to Samsung, it is the first line up tablet computers somehow similar to the first Galaxy Tab launched last 2010.

Since then, Samsung actively enhancing tablet line up in different sizes and Android Operating System. The new Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 is a 7-inch display and 0.4-inch thick tablet. It offers five main specifications and features. First, it runs on Android 4.0 so called “Ice Cream Sandwich”, first edition of Google’s open-source Android mobile platform, second, it will give users the ability to surf the web with Google Chrome, third, it does not have LTE Connectivity, instead it allows you to connect with Wi-Fi and 3G HSPA+ connectivity, fourth, its specifications are solid, and fifth, it is cheaper than Apple iPad.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 will make its public first appearance next month and will be launched first in the UK. At this time it seems very hard to choose a tablet from Samsung’s long lineup. To be precisely, there are five Galaxy Tabs being sold by the company which range from 7 inch screen to 10.1 inch. These slates include Galaxy Tab 10.1, Galaxy Tab 8.9, Galaxy Tab 7.7, Galaxy Tab Plus and Galaxy Tab 2.
