After a powerful performance that sent the “American Idol” judges up on their feet, Jessica Sanchez convinced America it wasn’t her time to go.
Jessica Sanchez, who got her 6th standing ovation in Idol’s latest performance night for her rendition of a Dreamgirls hit “And I’m Telling You I’m Not Going”, is among the Top 3 contenders of the singing competition.
Now the last female standing, Sanchez is up against the two other remaining Idol hopefuls — Phillip Phillips and Joshua Ledet.

In Round 1, Jessica Sanchez was the second performer on each of the three rounds and sang “My All” by Mariah Carey, with the three judges giving her good comments.

For Round 2, Jessica Sanchez has chosen to sing “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing” by Aerosmith, with the band’s lead vocalist Steven Tyler telling her that it was a great song and made it greater. Jennifer said it was a good job, while Randy told her that she has chosen some rough songs but has done it.

For Round 3 where Jessica sang “I’ll Be There” by The Jackson Five, Randy told her that he liked it but didn’t love it and that there was never a ‘moment’, with Jennifer and Steven said she had a perfect choice of song and that she had a perfect tone in her voice.
