Season 11 finals of American Idol have officially begun. On Thursday, the 25 semi-finalists compete for a two-hour show. Aside from three popular judges Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson, a surprisingly Jimmy Iovine showed up.

Jimmy gave more straight and frank criticisms for the semi-finalists. For instance, he declared he would sign Phillips Phillips and Jessica Sanchez, right here, right now. On DeAndre: “What he needs is a coach.” On Reed Grimm: “Way too kitschy for me, way too cabaret. Not gonna make it on this show like that”, CNN reported.
