In time for the first year anniversary of the world’s most celebrated royal couple, Barbie-maker Mattel is set to release the doll versions of Prince William and his wife.

A spokesman for Mattel said, “Available in April timed to their one year wedding anniversary, the gift set features the two wearing outfits inspired by their regal wedding day attire”.
The Catherine doll will feature the miniature of the Dutchess’ Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen wedding dress, as well as the tiara and the diamond-studded earrings lent to her by the Queen.
The Prince William doll, on the other hand, will feature the pint-sized version of his red Irish Guards outfit complete with blue sash.
Mattel is pricing the two-doll set for about 100 USD and is now taking pre-orders at www.barbiecollector.com.
Prince William and Kate wed April 29 last year at the Westminster Abbey. The royal wedding was broadcasted all over the world.
